Creative Room
Make space for your creativity — or whatever clears the way for it — in a community of presence, focus, and celebration.
What is The Creative Room?
The Creative Room is a two-hour gathering space where we come together once a week to write, paint, stitch, journal, dream, or simply handle the tasks that free up our creative flow. Think of it as creative body-doubling: you don’t have to do it alone.
Each session includes a short craft talk or reflection on the creative process/inspiration, along with a writing prompt to spark ideas. From there, we move into:
Connection & Grounding (10–15 min): Arrive, meet others, and settle in with a short meditation or centering practice.
Creative Work Time (60–70 min): Silent, focused time to dive into your project — or finally handle the task that’s been weighing on you. Whether you’re revising a manuscript, organizing your sock drawer, or filing your taxes, you’ll be supported by the collective energy of others making space for their creativity.
Closing Circle (10–15 min): A space for celebration and bragging. Share one sentence you wrote, a glimpse of your art, or simply name a victory — big or small. Everything counts.

Why The Creative Room?
We’ve been taught that creativity requires discipline, structure, and pushing through resistance. I don’t believe that.
Discipline belongs to productivity culture. Devotion belongs to love, inspiration, flow, authenticity, sweetness, the erotic, and desire.
These are all other words for creativity in my book.
The Creative Room isn’t about forcing yourself to “get things done.” It’s about returning, again and again, to what matters most — whether that’s your art, your writing, or simply clearing the space for creativity to flow.
Devotion, not discipline, is what sustains creativity through the chaos of daily life (and especially through the holidays).

Pricing
I’ve set the pricing to reflect both what truly supports creativity and what helps me build a long-term, committed community. In my experience, one of the best ways to nourish your creativity and productivity is to put resources toward your priorities ahead of time — it helps you show up, stay consistent, and honor your own work.
That’s why the pricing is tiered: it’s not just about money, it’s about supporting you in making the choice that actually works. I really prefer to connect with people over time, not in one-off bursts, because that’s where the real shifts happen.
Choose the option that feels right for you:
Full Season (14 sessions): $210 ($15/session)
The most affordable and powerful option. If you know you want to stay connected through the fall and holidays, this is the one. Committing up front helps you prioritize your creativity and build momentum week after week.7-Session Package: $140 ($20/session)
A half-season commitment — perfect if you want steady support without going all in.Drop-In: $30/session
For when you just want to try it out or can only make it occasionally.Supporter Tier (Full Season): $300
This tier makes it possible for me to offer scholarships and discounts to people in marginalized communities. If you’re in a position to give more, choosing this tier helps extend the same support, connection, and space to rest, create, and explore themselves to those who need it most.

Creative Room: Q&A
Do I have to be an artist or writer to join?
Not at all. The Creative Room is for anyone who wants to make time for what matters — whether that’s writing your book, sketching, knitting, journaling, or even clearing the clutter that frees up creativity (yes, filing your taxes or organizing your sock drawer counts!).
Do I have to share what I worked on?
Sharing is always optional — but our closing circle is about celebration, bragging, and naming victories. Big or small, everything counts: writing one sentence, untangling your yarn, clearing your desk, or finishing a chapter. This is a space to claim what you did and let it be enough.
What if I can’t make all the dates?
That’s okay! You can purchase a 3-session mini-package, or just drop in when you can. If you buy the full series, you’ll get credits to book all 7 sessions, but you don’t have to book them all at once.
How do I book dates if I buy a package?
When you purchase a package, you’ll receive credits in your account. You can immediately choose your dates in the Acuity calendar, or save them and book later.
What if I need to switch a date?
No problem — you can reschedule through your Acuity account, or email us and we’ll take care of it for you.
Will the sessions be recorded?
No. This is a live, present-moment practice space. Nothing will be recorded so you can show up freely.
Can I get a refund?
No refunds are offered. When you join, you’re committing to holding space for yourself and this community. If you can’t attend, you’re always welcome to reschedule your session or transfer it to a friend.
Do I need special supplies?
Bring whatever you want to work on — a notebook, paints, your laptop, or even just the task you’ve been avoiding. This is your space.
